A creative campaign carefully contemporizes and pays homage to an era where the joint was always jumpin’. The goal was to showcase the most essential motifs and aesthetics of the jazz age while injecting a contemporary, exciting, irresistible spirit to the 3x Tony Award winning musical sensation. Visual Identity
The visual strategy for Ain't Misbehavin' was built on individual charisma. I designed the campaign to treat every cast member as a headliner. We created a series of distinct, high-energy portraits that gave each performer their own spotlight. When viewed together, these individual assets formed a vibrant mosaic of talent that perfectly represented the collective power of the show.

Setting the Stage
"The campaign started in the rehearsal room to engage audiences early. I created a video with the director to explore the cultural significance of the new Bronzeville setting. This educational piece was released alongside dynamic performance clips from rehearsals. This strategy provided necessary historical context while showcasing the show's infectious energy.
