A vibrant marketing campaign that celebrated the authenticity and timeless appeal of Carole King's extraordinary story. The creative direction harmonized nostalgic 1960s aesthetics with contemporary theatrical sophistication, utilizing warm, intimate photography, vintage-inspired typography, and a rich color palette that evoked both the Brill Building era and King's earthy solo years. The campaign successfully connected with multiple generations by highlighting the universal themes of creativity, resilience, and the enduring power of King's iconic songbook. Drawing from the visual language of 1971, this design system pays tribute to the Tapestry album. The background features a warm, woven texture that grounds the artwork in the era. I selected typography that reflects the organic, handcrafted feel of the 70s to ensure every touchpoint feels genuine and historically rooted.
Artwork Development

The motion graphics extend the brand's 'woven' aesthetic into a dynamic experience. I designed an eclectic patchwork of animated elements that feel authentically tactile and warm, mirroring the handcrafted spirit of the 1970s. This approach blends the nostalgia of the era with contemporary motion design to create a visual identity that feels both vintage and vibrantly alive.
