In Drury Lane's 2023 production, Director Elizabeth Margoulius takes a different approach - presenting a stark, powerful, profound interpretation that hones in on the deeply personal human stories at its core. The accompanying visual campaign conveys the show's more grounded, human essence.
n crafting the artwork for our production of "Fiddler on the Roof," I placed Tevye at the forefront, with his daughters each progressively fading into the distance. This visual metaphor reflects the slow dissolution of tradition and the painful reality of Tevye's family slipping away from his grasp.
