The Audience

An intimate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the pivotal private audiences with her prime ministers.

My creative direction is an austere and intimate approach that captures both the grandeur of institution and private moments of a young queen coming to terms with her historic role. The result is a sophisticated visual narrative that communicates both the gravity of these historic meetings and the rare glimpse we're offered into this very private world. Photos: Brave Lux & Brett Beiner. Artwork Development

The visual direction embraces authentic British design principles, including an authentic primary typeface, Gill Sans - The typeface of British railways for nearly a century. Every design element - from the austere typography to the regal portraiture - works in concert to convey elegance, institutional authority, and feels quintessentially British.

Regal Authority

The visual language of this production is defined by a sense of austere elegance. I utilized high-contrast lighting and rigid, formal compositions to mirror the strict protocols of the monarchy. This approach creates a feeling of authority and historical weight. It ensures the imagery feels as timeless and unyielding as the institution itself. Photos by Brave Lux Photography

77th Tony Awards Feature

I created a 15-second commercial to promote the production to a massive audience. The spot aired regionally across the entire Midwest during the broadcast of the 77th Annual Tony Awards. This strategic placement put the show's austere, regal visual identity directly in front of theater’s most dedicated fanbase.
